Bray Tidy Towns is always grateful to receive acknowledgements of the work carried out by its volunteers.  Never more so than in the last year when each action taken required stronger efforts from the community.  The great volunteers from Bray both young and old can rightfully take a bow when words of encouragement are received. Thank you.

We've been awarded a REPAK grant in association with VOICE

We're delighted to announce that we've been successful in our application for the Repak Grant in support of the VOICE Recycling Ambassador Programme.

What does this mean? Well, it means that we'll have funds available to supply a number of large seafront businesses in Bray with a supply of paper straws. We hope that this will encourage them to think about purchasing single-use plastic straws going forward.

Bray Takes Bronze at National Tidy Towns Competition 2017

Members of the committee had cause to celebrate at the Helix, DCU yesterday as Bray was awarded a bronze medal at the National Tidy Towns Competition. Our score of 296 is an increase of 10 ten points on last year, significantly up from the 2014 score of 278.

A big thank you to all our hard-working volunteers for coming out to help in all weather. By working closely with other community groups and Bray Municipal District, we can all present Bray in the good light it deserves.

Thank you also to the people of Bray who tend to their own areas by carrying out tasks such as planting and weeding. And, thanks to the businesses in Bray who sponsor Bray Tidy Towns and also those businesses who keep their premises looking lovely with flowers, fresh paint and neat exteriors.

We are all helping to make a great town even better, and we plan to work even harder over the next year to make this a reality
